INSIGHTS
José Luis Sánchez Vera has established himself as one of the leading figures in women's football at an international level—a great analyst, strategist, and coach.
With every team he has managed, he has consistently reached the top positions in the standings. For example, in the 2022-23 season, he led Levante UD to qualify for the Champions League, allowing them to compete in the group stage of the 2023-24 edition.
In 2018, he was appointed head coach of Atlético de Madrid Femenino, where he won the league title in his first season and finished as runner-up in the Copa de la Reina.
Before becoming a coach, he was a player, but an injury forced him to hang up his boots and turn to the tactical board. He began as a teacher at the Swiss School of Madrid before taking on coaching roles at San Roque and Atlético de Madrid.
His professionalism and perfectionism will open doors wherever he chooses to go. Without a doubt, he is one of the most in-demand free-agent coaches on the market.
